Where Will Kamala Harris Live?

Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris may be moving to Los Angeles sometime in the future. However, there is no information on where. There are many choices, including San Francisco apartments, Brentwood properties, and Westlight Apartments. We’re going to give you the details so you can make an educated decision.

Blair House

Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris has been elected Vice President of America. She and Doug Emhoff moved into Blair House. This is the official residence of the president. In January, they lived in a minimalist condo in Washington, D.C. They moved into the property in the White House’s historic district late January.

But as they began a renovation project at the home, they have been forced to live in their suitcases while the work is completed. A spokesperson for the US Secret Service said they would not comment on the housing situation due to security concerns.

Although the office expects that renovations can be completed by February, it will likely take quite some time. The main concern of the office is that there are still many repairs and touch-ups to be done.

One of the projects is replacing the chimney liners in the Observatory Home. Household maintenance is another area of repair.

Emhoff and Harris declined to provide details about their temporary living arrangement, but stated that they would be “disclosing this as soon as possible.”

Main bedroom has a huge canopied mattress, plush fabrics, and furniture that is similar to Mount Vernon. You will find a fitness room, laundry facilities, as well as two conference rooms.

Westlight Apartments

After Kamala Harris became the District Attorney for San Francisco in 2017, she sold her home and decided to move into a condo in Washington, D.C. She bought a two-bedroom unit in the Westlight apartment complex in the West End.

Harris’ Westlight condo has high-end amenities and designer finishes. One bedroom and one bathroom make up the 1,700-square-foot suite. There are floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, as well as custom Italian cabinetry in the kitchen and walk-in pantry.

There are two bathrooms in this home. It also has a large walk-in pantry, oak hardwood floors, and a teak shower floor. There is also a rooftop pool and a lounge area on the top floor. You can also use the dog-washing station.

Aside from the amenities, the Westlight complex is located within walking distance to the White House, Georgetown, and Dupont Circle. You can also find the U.S. State Department Building within a mile.

The property has been listed for sale with a price tag of $1,995,000. Mei Mei Watts Watts-Venners acts as the listing agent. Venners were unable to predict the time of sale.

Brentwood abode

Kamala Harris was the first Black woman nominated by major political parties to run for vice president of the United States. Her distinction also includes being the first ever female vice president elected in the United States. In addition to being a California Senator, she also serves as the Attorney General. Brentwood, where she resides in Los Angeles’ upscale Brentwood area is where her house is.

The house was built in 1948 on a one-third acre lot. It has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also features a private swimming pool.

Kamala Emhoff, her husband bought the house in 2012. The purchase was financed by a Wells Fargo Loan. According to Zillow, the house is valued at around $5 million.

Harris also has a second residence in San Francisco. Located in the South of Market neighborhood, the apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows and a rooftop swimming pool.

San Francisco condo

Kamala Harris has sold her SoMa condominium to US senator and former San Francisco District attorney. On the second floor is a loft-style bedroom, a bathroom with full shower and a home office area. It’s also got a fireplace and high ceilings.

It is situated in South of Market, in a small boutique building. It is located close to Whole Foods, the San Francisco Superior Courthouse and other amenities. A garage spot is also available.

Harris’ San Francisco condo was listed for $799,000. The property, located just over a mile from the San Francisco Superior Courthouse, was listed for over a week before being accepted by a buyer.

Anne Herrera (the condo’s listing agent) told The Chronicle that the property was currently under contract. However, Anne Herrera would not say if the buyer is a candidate for political office.

Forbes claims that Harris and Doug Emhoff (her husband) are worth $US6,000,000, but their current location isn’t known. The Harris spokesperson and Sotheby’s International Realty wouldn’t confirm this.
