Sharad Yadav, a 75-year-old Indian politician from Rashtriya Janta Dal(RJD), Party was 75 years old. He was elected to Lok Sabha six times more and Rajya Sabha more than six times. He had many accomplishments that made him unique and made him stand out from other leaders.
Sharad Yadav, a socialist leader, was a prominent politician for many decades. His political career revolved mainly around Bihar. He was a prominent figure in the anti-Congress movement of the 1970s.

He was a leader and was part of many alliances including the Janata Dal (United), led by Nitish. Later, he split from Nitish and founded the Loktantrik Janata Dal. Sharad Yadav was elected president of the party when the Janata Dal (United), merged with the BJP Bihar.
He was a union minister and served in the Atal Bhari Vajpayee government. He held the key portfolios for public distribution and food during this tenure.
Sharad Yadav was also a Rajya Sabha member. In seven elections, he was elected to the Indian Parliament. He lost to Rajiv Gandhi during the 1981 Amethi By-election.
He was a leader as a member the NDA. He was both the National President of the party and the convenor for the National Democratic Alliance.
