Knievel set 20 world records and landed more than 350 jumps. Knievel completed a jump from one building to another in 1999 between two towers 13 stories high. He jumped for the first time over a building with no net.

Knievel flew five military planes over his home in 2004. In 2011, Knievel made his final jump, landing on a section of the Grand Canyon.

Knievel was a pre-jump show performer and was often featured on talk shows before he became a professional stuntman. His father starred as a pilot for Hollywood Stunts with Lee Majors.
