LaverneCox has revealed the identity of “Claim To Fame” candidate X as M Lamar, Laverne’s twin brother! Frankie and Kevin Jonas present the program. It’s all about finding out the famous relatives of the houseguests.

X, with his black clothes and black makeup, was especially mysterious. Lark, a competitor, correctly guessed that X was connected to Cox. His name was finally revealed.

M Lamar (Reginald Lamar Cox), is a singer, composer, and artist who has appeared on Cox’s popular program “Orange Is the New Black.” He was Sophia Burset’s portrayal before Laverne’s transformation.

M Lamar shared a touching message about his sister as he left the stage. She has helped open the doors for other Black trans performers. He stated, “I have never spoken much about my sister.” Because she’s my reason for being here, I want to say unambiguously that I love her.

Passionately, he added that “She has endured and continues to suffer many forms of insanity.” She stands with dignity and pride and continues to inspire others. Her achievements are far greater than hers. There are many Black trans actors who have appeared on magazines covers or on TV programs.

Before my sister, none of these existed. All I want to do now is thank her for her kindness and appreciation. Cox stated on Instagram that she is a tremendously fortunate lady in many ways. One of my most important things is that I have lived my entire life with lamar.

I can’t even begin to express how deeply his comments on @claimtofameabc yesterday night meant to me. My brother’s support, love, and advice have helped me become who I am today. This confirms to me that there is a God, a higher power and a great energy force greater than myself.

M, thank you for being my creative, visionary, innovative, and revolutionary Negro Gothic (a term he invented). Get into it, yuh!) Brilliant twin sister! God Bless You! #TransIsBeautiful #siblings #twins #UnconditionalLove.”

M Lamar spoke with Newsweek about his Claim to Fame method. He stated, “I was more concerned in being myself to my fullest extent than concealing my identity.” My inherent nature is already confusing to me.”

He said, “When you’re the person’s twin brothers, I don’t believe there’s any way to feel confident in hiding that fact. But since my sister became mega-famous, I have routinely lied to her about being related to them to keep a sense that my life is not about being related with someone mega-famous.” This was not a new concept to me.
