At 21, Luka Doncic Shoes is being touted by some as the next LeBron James. Finishing fourth on this year’s NBA MVP voting ballot, Doncic has already established himself with his impressive stat line that led the Dallas Mavericks to their first postseason in three seasons.

Even James, who recently won his fourth NBA title, has heaped praise on Doncic – even choosing him for a shoe deal! When speaking with reporters this past weekend, Doncic expressed how he feels about James’ words.

“I felt truly honored,” Luka 7doncic tweeted after hearing LeBron James had offered him a shoe deal with BrKicks. It’s something I can’t quite put into words.”

On the Road Tripping podcast, James discussed Luka Doncic. “I wanted to start ‘Team LeBron’ and have Luka as my first signing with Nike,” James said. However, it seems the guys at Nike weren’t ready for him yet; Doncic ultimately signed with Jordan – although James doesn’t know if Luka knows this.”

 

Doncic, who considers James his idol, realized what an honor it was when someone sent him a photo of James back then. This week, Doncic addressed the matter and shared how he feels: “I felt special,” he said. “Someone sent it to me that day – that’s how I got to know about it. It’s something special; something I can’t explain”.

On December 27, 2019, the Dallas Mavericks took to social media to announce their 2019 roster.

 

Last December, Doncic signed his deal with Jordan Brand. Spanning five years, it is worth more than New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson’s five-year, $75 million deal. Though it has been deemed “lucrative”, no specific figure was disclosed.

Before his deal with Jordan, Doncic was a sneaker-free agent. Even before the 2019-20 season began, there had been rumors about an impending Jordan brand collaboration circulating.

 

LeBron James Shoes Deal

In 2015, LeBron James inked a lifetime contract with Nike worth an estimated $1 billion. Reports state that by the time he turns 64 years old, it will have earned him over $1 billion dollars. At 18 years old, James signed his rookie deal worth $12 million per year at Nike which would rise to $1 billion by then.

 

James and Doncic met for the Christmas game this week, with the Lakers emerging victorious with a score of 138-115. Anthony Davis led all scorers with 28 points for the Lakers while James posted 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists Doncic led his team with 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists.
