When Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed to the Supreme Court of the United States in 2017, many people wondered who her daughters are. Although no one can be certain, we know that both are young females. Leila is just seventeen years old. Talia Jackson, however, is currently a college student.

Talia wore a floral printed black dress to her confirmation hearing. Her mother spoke to Talia as she sat with her.

In her speech, Judge Jackson spoke extensively about her family. Judge Jackson spoke about her childhood and how it was like growing up in Miami, a mostly Jewish suburb. For their first jobs, she and her family moved to Washington D.C. They graduated from historically Black colleges and universities, and then went on to work in public schools.

When Judge Brown Jackson gave birth to Talia, she was just a new attorney. But her parents continued their support, even after they relocated to a more costly area.
