According to reports, his family released an official statement announcing the news. According to the family’s official statement, Hardy III had died. He was a popular and highly successful entrepreneur in the country.

The lumberyard was used by professional homebuilders in the area. Hardy, along with his brothers and younger brother, decided to venture into the material supply industry in the middle of the 1950s.

They bought a piece of land in Eighty-Four, Washington County. The brothers started selling lumber with the help of Ed Ryan, a neighbor and friend. After a short period of success, 84 Lumber began to offer credit terms.

The Hardy family, in the late 1950s, rethought their lumber business to make it the largest privately-owned supplier of building materials. They eventually created Nemacolin Woodlands resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.

It features a spa and a golf course. 84 Lumber quickly grew to more than 250 stores in the United States. 84 Lumber built its 400th store in 1997. Hardy was a successful entrepreneur, but he also experienced a difficult personal life.

He filed for divorce from Dorothy Pierce Hardy at one point. A family statement confirmed the death of Hardy. A funeral service will take place at McMurray’s Westminster Presbyterian Church. After the service, full military honours will be administered.
