Adam Rich Died: Adam Rich, best known for starring on the comedy-drama television series “Eight is Enough” has died on 7 January 2023 at  the age 54 years old. He died Saturday at his home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, said Lt. Aimee Earl of the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner Coroner’s office.

The cause of death was under investigation but was not considered to be suspicious. Danny Deraney confirmed the actor’s death Sunday but did not provide a cause.

“Adam was simply a wonderful guy,” Deraney wrote on social media. “He was kind, generous and a warrior in the fight against mental illness. Adam did not have an ounce of ego.

Adam Rich died on  Saturday in Los Angeles on 7 January 2023.  Aimee Earl, the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner Coroner’s office said. His cause of death was under investigation but was not considered to be suspicious.

Rich was also a well-known child star actor, and many people have joined his fan list because they loved him too. He was a child actor wearing a pageboy mop top and gained attention as “America’s little sister” on Eight is Enough.

Adam Rich was born in Brooklyn, New York on 12th October 1968. He was an American actor. His best role, as Nicholas Bradford, in Eight is Enough, earned him too much attention and love.

On Saturday, Adam Rich, a former child star, died in Los Angeles. Rich, 54 years old was found dead in his home. Although he was not suspected to have been the victim of foul play or other causes of death, the cause of his death is not yet known.

Rich made his television debut in 1977’s sitcom “Eight Is Enough” where he followed the lives and adventures of eight children. Rich was Nicholas, the youngest child. He starred with Dick Van Patten for five seasons in the sitcom. He narrated “Goosebumps Deep Trouble” an audiobook during the show’s five-season run.


He took a break after the series ended. He returned to acting later. His last credits include a cameo in Dickie Roberts: Former Children Star by David Spade.

Rich was a child actor, but his public life was very similar to that of other child actors. He used his platform often to advocate for mental wellness. Rich announced in October that he had been sober seven years.

Rich was arrested for allegedly breaking windows at a West Hills pharmacy. Rich was placed on probation by a judge. He was also accused in a drug-filled syringe theft and a morphine prescription syringe theft.

Rich was ultimately dropped from the case. Rich’s friends were worried that Rich would not return calls. In 2002, Rich was arrested for driving under the influence. Van Patten offered to bail Rich out after Rich was arrested. The two men have been friends ever since.
